For all the roll bar junkies, pics inside
Sal the cage looks sweet!
I'm assuming your going to be using a leather cover also.
Keep sending more pics!
Can we make the cage with removable side bars for when where not racing? I would like to do that if it would still be legal.

Thanks for the compliments. Here's a shot with the seats installed as requested..

Sal,
Looks good. Just a few questions.
Is that mild steel or chrome moly? It looks like it was MIG welded? Inspectors like TIG. Is it attached to the frame or just the floor pan? If it is attached to the frame did you account for the rubber body mounts moving and rubbing against the Lexan windows?
I believe you need a five point harness regardless of ET with a rollbar to keep your mellon from hitting it in an accident.
HIGH RISK

Bob, the bars are mild steel. Chrome Moly would have been nice, especially since you can use a thinner tube for a moly bar, but it's also 4 times the cost, and I'm not made if money
. The bars are welded to the floor of the cab with plates, then matching plates are welded to those from undeneath, and then the bar continues to the frame. Doing it that way keeps it legal and reduces the amount of movement the cab has. As for the harness, all the mounting points were added to the bar and floor, I just haven't gotten the harness yet.

So sal, whats the cost going to be on getting a cage just like yours? Complete from top to bottom.
Do you have any pics of your truck with the leather cover on and from farther away?
