Anybody have a JDM exhaust yet?

Im thinking seriously about getting one of JDMs new custom exhaust systems but Id like to here some feedback one what others think about it first.

Mainly Id like to know how easy it was to install.
How loud is it.
Does it drone inside the truck at cruiseing speeds.

The below link has a sound byte of the new exhaust system. It sounds real mean and you cant beat the price.

Andy-

Know someone that just got the full system with long tubes, best exhaust I've ever heard. Sorry, this clip is not just the cat-back, but has the headers. Even meaner in person. http://w3.cablespeed.com/~dbaskin/JJ/exhaust1.mpg

The systems does sound good, but for another $120.00, I think I would buy the Basani for the larger chromed tips. JDM's looks as if they just polished our stock tips. I've polished mine, but they don't stay looking good for long. No flame, just my .02

Fast Gator,

You gotta be kidding. When you look at these pics tell me you do not think they even resemble stock tips. This si the baddest exhaust offered for the lightnings HANDS DOWN! IMHO

Fast Gator:

You are 'visually challenged'. I just had the JDM c/b installed today. The tips are humongus! 4 1/2" diameter-so big they almost touch each other in fact, they are tack-welded on the inner sides where they align next to each other. The only 'drawback' is you won't be able to clean in between them. They also extend further out and angle down(condensation should be able to drain out) slightly more than the stock ones.

Can't tell about the sound yet--they take about 500 miles of break-in driveing to mellow out. The Magnaflow muffler is shineingly(sp?) beautiful. Everything went togeather but I'm glad I paid $45.00 to have a professional(Total Exhaust in Warner Robins, Ga.) install it. We left the clamps(supplied-Ford OEM) off(saves a little weight ) and tig-welded around all four connections.

JDM's tips are polished stainless steel, not chrome.

Read the thread linked to SVTPerformance.com above.

As FlashSVT said, they're polished stainless steel as is the muffler shell. The only 'problem' with the big, polished tips is if you stand near them and stare at them, your reflection will make you look fatter and funny lookin' Btw, the old tips will fit inside(3 1/2 into 4 1/2" ) the new tips with room left over!

I called Jim today to order the new "Silver Bullet" cat back. He said it will be at least a few days. He said the demand is exceeding the supply. Can not wait to get it.It looks AWESOME.Would not expect anything less from JDM.

I am wondering if anyone has dyno'ed the cat back system. From what I have previously read, the best that I've seen on a stock L is no change in hp or torque with a bassani cat back system. I certainly would like a little louder system, but I'm not willing go give up hp or torque for sound. Anyone have any information on this?
