Has anyone heard of a 500hp L engine in next gen to compete with dodge. Will new cobra have a 4.6, 5.0, or 5.4- Will svt speculate?

 

Any speculation or talk about future L engine or cobra(4.6, 5.0,5.4) Thanks for info!! I do not want to buy new now and then regret not waiting until next year for an even badder ride whether it be a new L or cobra!!

 

Your guess is as good as mine. I personally feel that the new gt40 WILL be coming out, and will be one bad vehicle. But price and time, I have no idea. If your worries are that much. Lease a new L or Cobra for 2 years (the mileage shouldn't be a problem since you already have another daily driver=company car(I think that's what you said)) and after those two years, if you see something better, go for it. Like I mentioned, I love my Lightning a lot. Best vehicle I have ever owned, but I have thrown the idea around of getting the new 03 cobra.

But, I did hear of SVT having a 32v Lightning with over 500 hp. but SVT has a lot of things that will never see the showroom floor.(and no I won't reveal my source)
