supercharger on a 5.4l?? intercooler needed?

i need some help from someone who knows what they are talking about.

what would it take to install the lightning supercharger on a regular 5.4 engine.

is the intercooler needed with the eaton charger.( can it function without it?)

anyone know of someone who has done this?

it is going on a 01 supercrew with a 5.4...

please help...

A list to get started with

1) Intake
2) Intercooler
3) Intercooler pump
4) Intercooler radiator
5) Intercooler reservoir
6) Chip
7) Larger Injectors ?
8) I think you would need the Lightning wiring harness and PCM to run the Boost dump, and the other electronics associated with the Supercharger
9) Supercharger

Thats just a laymans quick list - I bet folks like BABolt , JL, Sal, JDM or others could give you a better more complete list...

Have you looked at the Supercharger/ Turbo forum here. It looks like some of the aftermarket kits are less complicated to install ...

i agree with doug, for the time and money u put into putting a lightning supercharger together, and all of its components, u can get a much better performing supercharger for less money, and a easier install with tech support.

NOVI 2000, for example..

and u dont have to get the eaton and components from ford or off a lightning, eaton, im sure, makes a kit for the naturally aspirated 5.4, if you want it to look the same..
