Anybody have a driverside head light socket go bad started with burning out bulb's. Now socket is part burnt /melted. Only on drivers side. This is an 01. Artie

 

I burnt my sockets out once with some higher watt bulbs... if you didn't change your lamps, you can get your dealer to replace it, if not, sockets are at pep boys or autozone for like $2.00 each or so, that, a little solder, an iron and 15m a side and you're good as new.

If you didn't change the bulb, maybe some water got in there?

Thanks for the answer dan did have some heller bulbes in. But dont know it that caused problem. as it only happened on drive side. I'll change the socket and see what happenes. Again thanks Artie
