First you better check with your state laws; some places will ticket you all the time for improper tint. Second, tinting on the windshield is illegal period (but I've thought about it). I have something like 17% on my black L and it looks good. I think the rear window factory tint is something like 23 or 27.

I have the back window done in "limo tint", the problem is at night when backing up it's very difficult to see out of. Opening the slider doubles the tint so unless you stick your head out, you have to back up by guessing......

when you open the back slider window, looking through the double windows, what percent would that be? I'm looking to have a pretty dark (but not limo) tint equally on the back window and the two sides. Thanks.

p.s. How does 15% sides and back window sound? pretty good? The girlfriend has 20% on her windows, and I want something darker.
