Question Is this possible??

Is it possible to change the backlit color of green on our white gauges? Like maybe pull out the gauge cluster and change the bulbs behind the white gauges? Im not even sure how they are lit up to begin with. The reason I ask is because my Panasonic head unit and my amp light up blue at night and it would be sweet to get all the colors the same.

not possible.. the guages are lit by electroluminescent lightning.
kinda like "indiglo" watches.. there arent any bulbs in there except the warning lights. (check engine, security, ect)

I know you can get special indiglo ricer gauge products,, but to correctly install then you would have to remove the L gauges, replace them with regular f150 gauges, then place new aftermarket indiglo sticker type gauges on top of the regular gauges, a whole big problem and not worth the time to do. Plus you'd loose the bost gauge and other cool stuff on our dash. I also hear its very tough to get into the gauge clusters anyways, some sort of special tool or something if i remember correctly.

( but if you really want to be ricey,, you can use blue seran wrap and cover the gauge window with it

Wouldn't it just be easier to swap out the HU for one with lighting to match the gauge cluster

Easier maybe, but not cheaper. This isnt a pressing concern, just something I was wondering if it could be done. Thanks for the replies everyone.
