mods, longevity??
will make the big $ 800.00 decision this weekend on first mods,
looks like 3# pulley/single stage chip/psp valve body tranny kit.
With that said, how many of you suffered a ,engine problem after intalling the chip?
I am guessing most engine failures are do to installation of the chips, gathered from post's on various L boards.
Was curious about the longevity of above mentioned mods, since my 2001 only has 3000 mi on her, and warranty ,will be useless, to be or not to be that is the question????
PS: somehow double posted Da.

I think you have misinterpreted posts about eng. failures. I don't remember a direct connection to an eng. failure strictly because of a chip being used.
I have used a 2 lb, a 3lb, and am currently running a 5 lb pulley. I have used all three tuner's chips at one time or another. I have dynoed, 1/4 miled, and daily driven mine for 20,700 miles with no problems.
