ya they look great bud.

I bet you don't even notice them at all, except they may help it handle a little better in the twisties.

Looks like you did a good job installing them, good luck and enjoy.

COOL, but tell me what we really want to hear is how much better the L HOOKS and that your neck is sore from taking off so hard from red light to red light. Tell us ant it so?

hooters,

I wish I could tell you all that but I haven't had a chance to really try them out yet. I *think* that the traction bars stiffened up the ride a little. It seems, and I stress SEEMS, like it gave me a little harder ride. I'll tell you more as I drive it more and hopefully I'll make it to the track Sunday for test and tune but I haven't missed a Daytona 500 in 17 years (on TV) and I probably won't miss this one either.

The performance will show up on my time slips and I will post them as soon as possible.

Don,

Thanks for the compliment. Did you install yours with the rear suspension loaded or just hanging there in the air on a lift. I installed mine on a lift but when it came time to mark the front bracket holes I let it down and put a jack under the differential. They are so long that I think it might not matter anyway.

I hope I did it the right way.

Tim

how much of the red do you see peaking out from under the truck?

a profile shot (of the truck) would be nice.

Tim I did it with the axle sitting on Jack stands.

If it sitting on all 4 wheels can you unscrew the rear bolt that goes through the bars. Or is there alot off pressure on those bolts?

You may have to much pre load in the bars, what you might want to do is put it on jack stand loosen the U bolts on the axle, and pivot the rear bracket until the bolt that goes through the bars slides in nice and easy.

Don,

That's pretty much what I did too. The only difference was that mine was sitting on a floor jack to mark the holes. I haven't tried to remove them but if yours come out easy, mine should too.

Speeding Bob,

I made a pic as soon as I got home, sitting down on the lawn so it's a low shot. You can see them but the red color didn't show for some reason. they look tough, that's for sure!

My pointers however are suffering.

Yo chick, on your loop, how hard was it to drill your holes, did you have to remove the passenger seat?

I wish I had a hooking problem so I would have the need to put these on. I personally think they look really cool. Of course I like the upper track links on Koochie Krooks too. Let us know if they make you handle and hook better.
