I finally did my plugs today. The dancin' girls didn't show up to watch and drink with me this afternoon. So I ended up sticking this month's Penthouse Pet of the month on my hood and changing the P side plugs with one hand! WOO HOO!
After my nap I did the D side. What a relief......!

this might be a stupid question but are they under the valve covers??

 

No, they're under the coil packs. Right next to the valve covers under the fuel rails and directly next to the fuel injectors - thats where the coils are. You take them off and the plugs are about 3" down in there.

 

I put in TR5's and haven't driven it yet. It's raining here and the L doesn't get rain driven. I did start it and it seemed to idle a little lower than before? I did the plugs because of my JL 3# pulley, Diablo Sport Chip and JL Air Kit. The stock plugs seemed to run a little lean with these mods. I picked the TR5's based on price and feedback from others on this forum. Next will be suspension and wheels.
