Harley wheels on an L??

Hey All
I'm still looking for wheels for my L and I have been kinda set on 01 20" replicas...As I was looking through the new Sport Truck Mag I noticed a two tone silver L from the SEMA show with Harley wheels, looked really nice...what do you guys think....If I did it I'd change the center caps, maybe have something made with a bolt on it...

Paul

Gotta go with what makes YOU happy, Personally, I like like the 99 - 00 wheels better than my '02 stockers, replacement is quite a ways down the road, though

The Harley wheels are made by Neeper if I remember right, real easy to get new ceter caps. I was going to do that before I got mine....

Paul..stick with your first decision. I saw the H/D wheels on a lightning and I never liked "interbreeding" wheels on vehicles. Reminds me of the days when firebirds wore Z/28 wheels and visa versa. I think it "bastardizes" the vehicle. (is that a word??)

I think they look sweet!!! Call my L a bastard, but I plan on getting them if they ever come down in price (like $400/wheel).
The 18" L wheels look like 16' wheels on the harley.

Question

clonetek, is your L lowered? damn that looks sweet with those wheels. You should make an arrangement to make it a permanent trade. Tell your buddy how sweet his truck looks with your wheels repeatedly .

i lowered my truck 2 inches in the back, thats all.
i keep telling him to swap with me, but he chickens out.

i'll prolly have to swear not to do burnouts or wheelies with his 20's.

I like the H/D wheels...just think L style wheels belong on the L . Its like putting a pair of Gucci leather shoes on Mike Tyson. They look great but look better on Fabio I guess thats why there's chocolate & Vanilla. To each his own.
