Another tip is that the 97/98's have a baked on finish, and acetone will not do anything. In that case, you could just buy a new set, and strip them before installing. Since the Lightnings started in 99, I guess they will work, too. Not sure, though.,,,,,98

I think the chrome emblems look cool. You guys gave me a great Idea I have a spare set of emblems, and I am going to paint the black part silver to match the truck.
I bet that would be cool.

Does the acetone remove the paint AND the chrome on the emblems?
It looks like the chrome is still there in the pics... Did you have to tape off the chrome too?

I like the sig and all, but it is a little wide... Could you reduce it down a bit? Some of us have a monitor that doesn't do well with the higher resolutions, and your sig pics force a horizontal scroll bar...

No worries about the acetone taking off the chrome, it is "real" chrome. I did some cutting on the Triton emblems, and there is an actual copper coat underneath. Nice, eh?,,,,98
