I want to thank everyone for their generosity. It sincerely is appreciated. With that said, please don't take any of the following comments as being ungrateful, they are in absolutely, positively no way meant to be that way.
Please make sure you read my message earlier in this thread if you have not already. Also be sure to take a good look at the moved threads thread.
Contributions are fantastic, but I cannot commit to several hundred dollars more in server costs per month unless I am assured of a recurring revenue stream. Contributions, while extremely generous, are not going to cover that additional cost, I can guarantee it.
Please also keep in mind that contributions do not mean that Doug and I will not enforce the forum rules we have been discussing. The rules are going to be enforced for the betterment of this entire community, not just contributors.
As cynical as it may sound, I am going to guess that there are some out there that will donate because they expect this will be the case. It will not.
With all of that said, the contributions I do receive will be used in a responsible manner. I will let you know what that is when all is said and done.

Don't read too much into it. I don't think anyone expects anything in return because they chose to contribute or not.

I agree with Tampa, I don't want anything from you or the site as far as special favors go. We all know the rules and those that don't like them or don't want to follow them I guess will just have to find another forum. I personally love the site and don't know what I would do with out it.

I think that you should consider a subscription based service to keep revenue coming in. The way I see it is that as much as I make use of your site and the knowledge of the people on it The very least I could do is give up Taco bell for lunch today and pay for a very small part of what I have used on f150online. If you ever did decide to make the sight a subscription based service I am still there wether I donated anything or not I would be will to pay what ever price you decided that you needed all of us to pay to keep the site as top notch as it is now. Best of luck to you and I am glad that I could at least do a little something for the site.
P.S. Do you still sell the f150online.com decals I had one on my old truck that I bought about 2 years ago and would like to buy another.
