Lightnings are back

Just to let everyone know that we are building the SVTs again. I saw a silver chassis on the frame line and skids and skids of engines coming in off the train.

During the down time I hope they repaired/replaced that spark plug installation machine.
Then again it would be worse, they could just leave them for the dealers to install.

the doctor,

Could you please check that the plugs are tightened all the way on those motors?

The plants don't close until the Union contracts are up. I think for Ontario truck that's in '03 I believe.

I had heard late '03, early '04 for the Ontario Truck Plant, but I think the doctor would know better.

Sorry I took so long to reply. Production on the SVTs stopped for a couple weeks. I think it had something to do with the changes made to the truck ( apparently they changed some stuff to get better frontal crash results? Don't ask me what cause nobody seems to know ) but we are back at it and there are Ls all over the place again. Yes I live in Canada and can't wait for the nice weather so I can drive the truck again. The plant isn't scheduled to close until September 2003, but thats still a long ways away and I will believe it when I see it. Oh ya, the engines come to us with the plugs already in them( I know it shouldn't leave the plant with loose plugs ) Maybe Dr.Triton can pull some strings at the engine plant and that way the problem is taken care of properly.
