Question Intercooler water pump

Is the intercooler water pump setup to run only a certain temps? Would it be beneficial to bypass this feature and run it more often?

When the ignition is on, the intercooler pump is going.

When you first start the engine, it is not on. After a few, it turns on. You can hook up a switch to turn it on without the motor running though.

IF, if the SEARCH was working, I could find it. I haven't done this myself yet, but many on here have. Silver 2000 may have it on his website.

There are a couple ways I've seen the wires run. Some attach to a wire near the PCM, which I don't suggest. I ran a switched, and fused 12v wire straight to the pump.

It's on a delayed relay that comes in about 30 secs after starting. If you're gonna wire it to run from a switch make sure you wire it right. Those relays will fry, trust me on that one .

Probably most guys that do this have a power-cooler and thereby can circulate cooled coolant thru the intercooler. D/k if it would serve any purpose without the 'cooler'.
