Are all Superchips flip chips the same ?
Are all Superchips flip chips the same and it's just the program that is burned into it that changes. Example: can a 99 L chip be reburned for a 2002 L?
What about other brands?

Yes if you had a chip for a 99 it can be reburned to work on a 2001.
Superchip did come out with a new design about 6 months ago. The new version is a little thinner, but they work pritty much the same, and the same program can be burned onto either one.
