How difficult would it be to install the overhead console with the compass and thermometer (like the ones in the 2000 and

newer models) in a 1999 lightning? Or are there any aftermarket ones that will work?

We thought about doing this in our 99. And found it was to much hassle to make it worth it. But if you really want it, more power to ya.

 

When the search engine is back up and running you'll find a how-to with part numbers from early 2000. You'll have to replace the headliner and do some wiring.
