Question Linex vs. Rhino lining

Does anyone on here have their bed sprayed with either? I went to linex today and they wanted $405. I didn't have the chance to go to Rhino but I guess they are about the same.

Had a line-x on my Y2k and moved most of my house 1 load at a time to my new one and all I did is rinse it off and it was good as new, nice texture too.line-x guy also showed how much harder the line-x was by rubbing each other together and the rhino crumbled. thats my 2 cents worth

Depends on what your intended usage is...

Rhino is a more rubberized coating with gives you more grip, whereas the linex is a hard coating that can get slippery.

All depends on what you are goign to do...I chose rhino lining, its softer and easier on my knees getting in and out of the truck...

Brandon

PS my suggestion is a bedrug! (i am getting one to compliment my spray in now, unfortunaltly my bed was pretty scared up and needed something to prevent rust..)

Thumbs up

I have the line-x not only is it durable, it also stopped the squeeking in the bed making it tighter. I also paid $400.

Thanks guys. My company truck is Rhino lined and works well but I think it cost much more. I'll probably go w/ the linex due to cost. I wanted to make sure that it last as good and according your post it is.

I agree with Brandon - get the bedrug! But that's if you're not going to thrash the bed, and will put a tonneau on. It's sooo much plusher and matches my snugtop underside color to a Tee.

I had my last two trucks sprayed with Line-X, my next one will have it too. $357 out the door, each for both (same place). Shop around a little, ask for "show specials", you won't regret it.

Its hard to put a fourwheeler or lawnmower in the back with the top on. I intend on using my truck bed, so a top and bedrug would be out of the question. Besides, I dont have that much money to spend on it.

went with rhino, out the door price was 367 with tax, around 400 for a colored liner....

i would also recomend, turned out great, it would be advisable to try and leave the holes in the front open for drainage, mine are sealed and is kinda a pain..

I told the guy I wanted the holes left open and he told me I could cut it out after the fact. I'm not going for that when all he has to do is take them out and put a piece of cardboard behind them to prevent overspray. I wonder if blue would look good in the bed. Does anyone have pics of the colored?

Cool

I just ordered my BedRug from truckbedcovers.com for $317 shipped. I did the research, it's the cheapest price.

I love my Line-X liner... $320 out the door, with the embossed SVT logo to boot...

mbrown,

IMO, the Line-X looks a lot cleaner than the Rhino. The Line-X is thinner, but harder, and it shows the lines of the bed better. They removed all the bolts and tie-downs before they sprayed it, which was a nice touch. I have been very satisfied with mine, and it has held up well.

I believe the holes L in Detrit is talikng about are the ones where the front of the bed meet the floor. Mine are open and drainage isn't a problem.

Logan, that SVT is sweet. I remember seeing that picture before but I couldn't remember whos it was. I asked the guy to put that on mine but he said that it would cost me a extra $125. I was looking at the Rhino site and saw that they can match paint codes. What do you guys think about a silver liner, with metallic clearcoat to look just like the paint. I dont know how it would hold up but I'll talk to them tomorrow and find out. It sounds like I need to talk to the linex guy about his price of $400 plus the $125 for the SVT. All of a sudden it doesn't sound like such a deal.
