Chromed Gas Cap

Is there any way I could get my stock gas cap chromed? I am buying some chrome wheels, and thought the gas cap would look better chrome than aluminum. If so, would it cost much? I was also thinking of getting a Crome Speed Grille rather than my aluminum one, so there would be a LOT of chome on my truck!

Look in the yellow pages under "plating". There are alot of people in our area that chrome all kinds of stuff.

Unfortunately noone will do our aluminum wheels

CHROME FUEL DOOR LID

I OWN A 2001 HARLEY-DAVIDSON F150. I SAW THE LINCOLN BLACKWOOD AND NOTICED THAT IT HAD A CHROME FUEL DOOR.
IT FITS PERFECT AND ONLY TAKES ONE MIN. TO INSTALL (TWO SCREWS). I LOOKS GREAT AND MAY BE CHEAPER THAN PLATING YOUR EXISTING DOOR.
THE LINCOLN PART # IS 2C6Z-84405-A26AA AND RUNS FOR ABOUT $100.
I WORK AT A DEALERSHIP IN AZ SO LET ME KNOW IF YOU WHAT ME TO ORDER YOU ONE.

ALSO THE MUSTANG BULLETT FUEL DOOR IS BILLIT ALUM.

IF YOU WANT TO SEE PICS OF BOTH LOOK AT THE FOR SALE SECTION HERE ON F150 ONLINE LOOK FOR GREG OAK HD!!!

I think I will have my friend order me the Lincoln Blackwood fuel door. What does it look like close up, I could not find any close up pictures. Does it have the bolts around it like the Bulitt door?

I like that one better than my Mustang door. Wonder how you open it?

I believe that the whole chrome piece opens, not the center of it.

I was wondering the same thing. It sure does look good, I am either having mine chromed, or puting that on.

CrazyFoo, are you still thinking of getting a new grill? If so, I'd like to buy your old one. I'm just downriver from you (Southgate).
