Spoke to a dealer today who has a 2001 L with 2000 miles on it. We spoke for a while and he agreed on $28,500, how does this price sounds, is it reaswonable?

All comments are welcome.

I am still awaiting my 02L so I shopping around until then. Probably will get a better deal.

 

Hey Fowl, saw the red "L" today with the two white stripes and it looked nice...can't wait, should be next month...

 

ive seen 2000 range from 21K to 29K, but only 2000 miles seems real good, paid 28K for my 2000 with 17K last april....

hey fowl i gave 27000 for my black with 1800 mi on it =winter out of seson and went online had printed out paperwork for financing in hand when i went to deal = your townautodealerscom fill in yuor town or area my was like this central il auto dealers .com.no showroom bull its on papaer in my hand deal or dont!dont let them play there games mine was 28.900 with 1800 mi i gave them 27000.

Wantalight, I have seen that one before I not too much for it though.

There is however a white one that has a sticker on it that says tuned by JDM, that thing in spinning. It passed me on keturah street the other night, and when he punched it the whine from the supercharger sent chills up my spine. I wonder how those persons who attempt to race a L feel, when they hear that whine? very intimidating (spelling?) I am sure. However it lit up the road, and an instant grin came over my face and I was not driving.


I can wait to get mine.

Have you seen the black one? ...lots of stuff done to it...he even has the AAD hood

wantalight, That black L is a 00 I think, it is usually parked by the benz dealership across from subway in indutrial park. That one does look cool.

I like the hood it looks cool, I have heard some people say it looks like a bull dog though.

 

The Black one is a '99, also one of the white ones is a '99...I also heard there is someone else getting a Lightning, but hey, talk is cheap

2000 L purchased originally in Aug 00' by a female

She installed a $1000 stereo
She also installed a Viper alarm

and minor extras like tonno and bed mat.


I picked it up Dec 3rd for $24,500 w/ only 3800 miles

I fugured it out she lost almost $10,000 in 3 months.

Her loss my gain i guess.

Well Back in July I got my L for $28,200 brand new with 3 miles on it. I can get a 02 for that as well. If mine didnt have all the mods id sell it for $26,000 right now. Hell Ill take $30,000 with all the mods.... and I have close to 42K in it now!!

 

Sounds like you guyes got a GREAT deal. I paid $32610 back in March for my 01 with 3 miles I couldn't wait!

 

Was that x-plan at the time?
