???????????
maybe its cause its a cannadian lighting and they'd be stuck with daytime running lamps all the time
Plus they'd be stuck driving around a truck that had petro in it instead of regular gas,,, and a gas tank that was filled in increments of liters, and gas milliage that was figured out in liters per mile.

I hope you were kidding about not wanting a Canadian truck
If I didn't already own my L I would jump all over this. I think he wants 24.5K for a mint '01 with very low miles....
Good luck Al, somebody's going to get a sweet deal.

white toast you are completely wrong. i sold my last one to a guy from sioux city iowa. the authorized ford dealer changed the gauges over to read in miles, and everything was done by the book. the same would apply here. i believe im asking a very good price for you guys in the u.s. but for some reason people are unsure of just how easy it is to change the gauges over. i would do it at my cost. , so i dont understand why no one has jumped all over this . the truck is absolutely perfect in every way,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, al
I read your post when looking for a used '01 L. My major concern is that i won't own red, just personal preference. Plus the shipping would probably kill me to Arizona. I wen with a white one, perfect, 5500 miles for $26,200. So i paid $1700 more without a huge price in shipping and got the color i wanted. But $24,500 is a smokin' price! Just thought i'd let you know why...
well the last guy, who bought my 99 drove up with this friend to get it. as soon as he saw it , he was very happy. he phoned me when he got back to sioux city, and told me that these trucks are fantastic on the highway, and loved the drive back.....i am just saying the truck is perfect, low miles, 4500 and i just know im asking a good price?? so thats why i dont understand?,,,,,, al
I would really like to buy the truck but I would also rather have a color other than red. There is a white one for sale 2-3 hrs. away for 25K with 7500miles that would probably be a better deal for me anyway. My main concern is that my Jeep must sell first than I can decide b/w perfect red L in Canada or white L in Virginia. I would like to have one by this weekend so I could go to the Kinston drag strip with the L forum.
