Powder coated rims

Do powdercoated rims look any different from
chrome dipped rims and how easy are they to
clean.

I dont think they can powdercoat chrome so they will not look like that. They can do wild colors or even a gunmetal or graphite look. I like the gunmetal or graphite look personaly....

Ive been considering this very mod, and ill be looking into it in the next week but i quess you can powdercoat so they look like ceramic coating so it will look similair to the polished look. With less maintanence

The only powdercoated rims I've seen were on a 2001 Red L and it looked really good. they were a graphite color like ICULOKN said.

White Powdercoating....

looks AWESOME!!!!

I don't have any pics handy.... but I think if we could search on here.... %^$W#T%^!!!!!

User name Zor Prime, or Super Zor.... He did the same...

They are only a LITTLE more maintenance than the stock grey...

But I get compliments on them from L owners and non-L owners alike.

Here's a pic of Zor's truck... (Hope he doesn't mind...)

Man I want a white lightning =)..

Can't get away with red wheels on a red truck heh.

What coatin is used from ford?? As mine is coming off a little at a time...Not sure if its the wheel cleaner I use or what...(curbs do a nice job) I created two wheels for some sticky tires eariler last week, one was the carwash(those stupid bars that guide your car in do a number on our wheels so just and FYI...(first time my truck has seen a automatic carwash, but it looked BAD so i had to)
And chock one up for a curb taken a tad fast, and someone vearing into my lane(took turn too sharp and bam) no sidewall on tires really does suck sometimes...
