I am going to order an intake system for my L. I just don't know which one to go with JL, PSP, or JDM. The Volant just became available for the Lightning but its price is kind of high. On truckperformance.com they are asking $298 for it, does anyone know where i can find it cheaper or whether its even as good or better than the ones offered by our tuners. Any help is appreciated.

 

you might want to check MAC intakes. Typically less than $200.

 

I got the Airaid intake, it fits pretty good, seems good quality, seat of the pants difference and I picked it up pretty cheap. But any one of the tuners' intakes may be better just because they tend to be more specialized on L's. Haven't heard anything about the Volants but I would be interested.

 

especially if you are planning on 1/4 mileing with your L. You won't be sorry--they know what works and why it works. They race with their mods--the same ones they will sell to you. If you have a problem with one of the other brands, who are you going to ask for help?
