After much investigation, I think I finally got it-

I've been reading this board pretty much non stop for the last couple of days, looking for tips, tricks, hints, etc etc for modifications to squeeze power and better fuel economy out of my '99.

The power thing was easy, there are MANY MANY mods for this. But after working all afternoon gathering parts, I set out to come up with a custom mod to GREATLY increase my fuel economy. Please feel free to try this at home, and let me know the results- But please, since I am offering it here for free, don't try to profit off of my ideas-

Enjoy!

Chris

does that tilt the gas back from the fuel pumps, so it can't suck up as much, or something?

Talking

I think he is talking about the ultra low friction tires. Notice the clear compound.

yes he did patent it. that's Pops Whammo, inventor of the multi-directional nail gun. apparently Pops loaded a forward nail aft, or an aft nail forward,or something

Heck, you just gotta laugh after ordering $450 worth of tires....JUST FOR THE FRONT...LOL.

Oh well, at least now all my rubber will be new- that'll make me go faster, right? Like new shoes did when we were kids???

Hey, I've got that mod out in my garage right now

It's been like that for about 3 days, saved me at least $10 in gas, plus a few bucks savings on the F1's...
