I read about a week and a half ago about some people that ordered the "new" superchip that claimed to make amazing numbers, and I have not seen anything about it. Was it just a hoax or did they just not come in yet...just curious. Kevin

Are you talking about the one from JL? If so that's a Diablo chip not a Superchip. Just curious. I would like to see it perform as well.

 

You might be referring to that Superchip thread that was over 2 years old that somebody brought back to life. If you didn't look at the dates of the posts, it made it sound like it was a new SuperChip.

I BOUGHT MY 2001 LIGHTNING 2ND WEEK IN OCTOBER 2001. DROVE LIKE CRAZY LOVING IT. AFTER 1500 MILES ON IT I BOUGHT A SUPERCHIP FOR 245.00 AND A AIR FILTER KIT FOR 130.00. I DISCONNECTED REV LIMITER AND WENT TO TRACK. ABOUT 3WEEKS AND 7/10 RUNS MY BEST TIMES WHERE12.83@106MPH WITH ABOUT 18LBS IN F1'S AND LAUNCHING AROUND 1200 RPMS IT WAS COLD IN JERSEY , AROUND 50 AT TRACK. UNFORTANTLY I TOTALLED THE TRUCK IN THE RAIN AFTER A BLOWOUT AND HIT A WALL. BUT I LOVED THE CHIP AND WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ANYBODY. I HAVE IT BACK IN THE BOX WITH ALL PAPERWORK AND RECIPTS. WOULD LIKE TO SELL FOR BEST OFFER. WILL INSTALL OR TAKES ABOUT AN HOUR OF YOUR TIME. AFTER SHIPPING TO YOU. BUT I DONT KNOW HOW NEW OR OLD THE DESIGN I. I DID SPEAKE WITH A COSTOMER SUPPORT TECH, AND AFTER HE HELPED ME HE SAID I SHOULD LOVE THE CHIP. HE HAD BEEN ON THE TEAM AND JUST GOT DONE TESTING IT A SHORT WHILE AGO.
