Nitrous Express Ntercooler

I'm not exactly sure how one of these would work on a Lightning, but has anyone had any experience with this system?

For supercharged or turbo
applications where nitrous
is not an option, NX offers
another alternative. Tne
"N-tercooler". Using either
nitrous or CO2, this unit can
reduce air inlet temperatures
dramatically. In a recent dyno
test a turbocharged Honda
equipped with an NX
"N-tercooler", increased its
baseline by an astonishing 52
HP! If it makes horsepower
it must be Nitrous Express!

I saw that and wanted to kick the person who designed that. Why use nitrous to cool the intercooler, when you can use a small shot to cool the air charge and get the benefit of the extra O2.

Why not use the JL icebox.....fill it with ice and your done...

This seems like it would be a waste of go-go juice

How does that work? Is it strapped somehow to the heat exchanger?

Back when I became an NX dealer, I saw that in the catalog and I was a bit confused as to how it actually worked. Basically, it's designed to cool the external heat exchanger for an intercooler.

That kit is more for the import crowd and for classes of racing that allow intercoolers, but not nitrous. Remember, most intercoolers are air to air, not air to water like ours are.
