Way to go Bob!!!!
That is freakin' awesome. Nice going Robert. I gather that this was an SVT event. I realize that Auto-X is probably 90% driver, which is a testimonial to Bob's skill, but I am still interested in how the truck was set up, especially tires, wheels, and shocks, since I plan to do some Solo2 this year myself.

A humble thanks guys
Gator, Alpha, Jim, Don, and all
Thanks for the shout out. Not necessary but appreciated nonetheless.
It was an SVT event put together by the Cincinnati SVTOA chapter. The cars reality1 listed are correct. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play with the two 2000 Cobra R's m on the road course but fellow Hoosier L_Acious let one of them know which side their bread was buttered on the straights during the hotlap sessions.
All the others were targets. A couple Cobras didn't signal me to pass after drafting them for several laps so they were passed anyway. The Contours, well, they knew better... hehe Most of them broke.
As for the autocross and a note for those attending driving events, if/when the instructor(s) say "Ask us anything, DO SO!" It really helps.
As for the setup, real basic actually.
Ontario Truck Plant 'Secret' alignment, clunk and all.
OEM Bilsteins
F1's at 40 psi in front, 38 in rear
Belltech 2" shackles
Ruslow Panhard bar
JL Diablo Chip tuned for 4 lb pulley not installed (didn't have time)
JL Filterkit (sans tube and horn)
1/2 tank of Sunoco 94. Had to leave, refuel, and return... DOH!
After it was all said and done, the tires took the most obvious brunt of 90+ mph sweeping right handers, switchbacks, and tight 180's. I still feel a little guilty for beating on the truck so early in its existance. It took all the abuse I cared to throw at it that day.
Thanks again for the shout out.
Cheers!
Bob

What class, what was he running against, what kind of mods on the truck, especially suspension and tires?
