Thumbs up

I'd say, congrats, and welcome to the 12 second club...

Sorry, can't tell you how to convert, but during my 12.6 run at Carlsbad, I pulled a 8.216 60'@84.59 mph

Hey if you'll fly me out to California, I'll change them for you. He He

Good times though, and I'd hate to get up against you bracket racing with those lights.

It'd probably be cheaper than what Ford asks for that sort of job.

Its really quite simple, instead of shutting down after the first 1/8th, keep it floored for another 1/8th mi. LOL

I use the following it is fairly accurate.

1/8th time x 1.55= estimated 1/4th time

Multiply 1/8th e.t. by 1.56
Multiply 1/8th mph by 1.25

These will give you a pretty close number. It's always been pretty much dead-on for me.

1/8 to 1/4

e.t. x 1.565
mph x 1.28

(saw that in an Edelbrock catalog one time I do believe)

Site was worth a visit for these pearls of wisdom ...

You might be a racer if:

You've paid $4.00 a gallon for gas without complaining.

You've found your lawnmower runs pretty good on 108 octane gas (but doesn't particularly care for alcohol).

You have enough spare parts to build another car.
