Wheel idea. opinions?

Gang,

In pondering what to do with the wheels, I'm leaning toward having the stockers powdercoated charcoal. Not interested in Chrome. Cost for all four to be stripped, powdercoated, then shot with clear is in the neighborhood of $500. Below image is the idea..

I know, I know, it looks as if they spent the day on a road course... hmmmm

(donning nomex)

Thoughts?

Bob,
IMO that is too dark. I like either stock or chrome on the stock rims, especially on silver...JR

However it's your baby!!!!!

I've got some brake pads that will make them look like that.

she was black with dealer installed pin stripes, actually painted on, not stickers. blue and silver and i had the side stickers removed by the dealer as i always thought it broke up the side of the truck too much.

Richard,

Exactly. Have to give Big6 credit for this too. He has mad photoshop skillz...

The tone would match the bed runners, tailgate 'lip', and the grill.

Have to agree that the graphite look on the red truck above would look pretty sweet on a silver L.
