Question 2002 Lighting Price Question

I have an chance to buy a 2002 Lighting used . My local dealer just got a silver 02 lighting in today as a used truck . The story is the truck was declined by the first dealer because of a scratch on the hood and now my dealer bought it used with 20 miles on it . I was wondering if someone has a general price that I could expect to pay for the truck used . The new car sticker says orginal MSRP was close to $33,000 . Any and all help on the matter will be greatly appreciated .

Thank You,
Ynot

I think $33,000 for a used & damaged L is way too high, I have read here that guys have seen 02L for $30,000.

Question

The $33,000 is what the sticker said not what the dealer said it is for sale for. Does anyone know of a web site that I can find out a price for a used 02 Lighting ?

NO WAY

You can get a new unscratched L for 29,000 plus tax, you make the decision. I just bought mine last week for that price, tell your dealer that and see what he says

Ynot,

Something is wrong with the story you are being told. Many vehicles are damaged in shipping each year, the dealer doesn't really have an option of refusing them, besides it's not like the dealer actually owns the vehicle anyway. A good body shop will meke the scratch disappear, speaking of dissapearing I would from this dealer as something smells fishey.

Every dealer tells you when you drive your new vehicle off the lot it deprecates $5000. I also somethink "stinks" about the story!

Thats what I am thinking . I work for this dealer as a mechanic and I know that we are not SVT licensed so we can not get things like lightings and cobras unless they are used . Wish we could . My buddy checked the truck out with me . No one has done a PDI on we were the first to check over the truck . I dont know.
