Beware Lightning Owners!!!

HAHAHA!! Now that ive got your attention-------->

I want everyone to meet the new student in SVT's school of *** kicking!

Chevrolet Silverado SS

have you guys saw these??? Heres the article wrote on
www.cheersandgears.com

Silverado SS - GM admits to finally putting together an "internal" speciality vehicle group (similar to Ford's SVT) to help them create some extra thunder in the lineup. The SS will be one of the first vehicles created by this group to hit the roads. Long overdue successor to the 454 SS of the early 90's. Look for 350 ci or higher in the Vortec V-8. Chevy will work to meet/ beat the Ford Lightning hp rating without the use of a supercharger, but with good ol' hot rod know-how.

So what do you Lightning Boys think about this?? any fears?? I sure hope not and even if it is faster its still gonna look like a 4x4 El Camino!!

I think it looks nice, but when Ford puts the 3V heads on the L next year, it will look nice in our rear view mirror!!!

Talking

Ha, in your dreams. Chevy doesn't have a motor in their stable to make that 6500 pound sled beat the L. They'd have to go to their parts department and get one of those 502 boat motors and put a 850 holly on it and then go to B&M or somebody and get a good th400 tranny that would take it and then figure out how to make it pass emissions. LOL I should live so long.

It's old news. They'll never make it like that because it costs far to much. The engine that was in it has too many customized parts.

There was a more recent article with a more closer "production" ready version...guess what? Different engine, smaller breaks, and the bed and cab are NOT unibody.

Oh well. Next!
