thought this was sort of funny....
the last week in Vancouver it has been snowing like a mother. Unfortunately I had to drive my L in it...so needless to say I took it easy. Coming home I stopped at this light. Dude pulls up next to me. I look over and see a lowered, handpainted red, chainlinked steering, Vanilla Ice pumpni' 5.0. I smile and look away. Vanilla starts to rev his engine.(keep in mind the streets are slushy ice mixture). I look over again and smile. He revs again and rolls his window down. The passenger, Tonto, starts talking. I roll mine down, to hear him say that he thinks his buddy can take me. I laugh and ask him if he wants me to turn the truck around so I am in reverse while he plants it. Dude gives me the finger. No big deal. Light turns green. He puts his foot down and spins for about a minute while I idle away. Finally, about 1/4 mile away he comes flying by me. Tonto fingers me. Again I laugh. Why? They didn't realize the road turned directly right abouta block up. By the time he realized he put 5.0 in a slide and nailed the retaining wall. I drove by slowly and smiled.
