Question Audio : if you have thunderforms or a custom box. PLEASE READ !

Here is my question:

I was looking into those mtx thunderforms for my lightning, and i see that some of you have them, and i was wondering if you could show me some pics of your systems so i could see how they look. also i wanted to know what kind of sub do you have. and amps do you have powering them. also do they sound good. and much did the cost ?

....also to people that do not have the thunderforms but a custom box please send pics and tell me about it

Check out my signature pic and click on the link in my signature. I think that all the info on my system components is in that link. Hope this helps.

These are pictures of my stereo system I have in my L. I have an older Punch 200x2 amp($450.00 when new) pushing my JL Audio 10w3($179.00 a piece) and the mtx thunderform($240.00 unloaded) The Alpine Cd Player ($400.00) and the Apline Changer($320.00). I put my amp under my passenger seat and it fits perfect.

Hope this helps!

This is a picture of my custom enclosure that I made. I have switched over to the Image dynamcis subs over the W3's. I'm working on a box thats going to hold 4 tens insted of the 3 in this picture.

I have a ZX450 for the interior speakers and a DX700 for the Subs. I also have a ZX500 that I will use with the 4 tens.

In my opinion the 10" woofers sound the best in the trucks. The 12's are to big and 8's are a waste of time.

Don't have pics handy, here's what I just had installed and it sounds tight:

2 Punch 10" in two custom sealed boxes
powered by a RF 900 watt sub amp attached to the rear of the cabin
RF components up front, both behind the factory grille
RF 2 ways in the rear, all driven by RF 300 watt amp
Kenwood KDC-X917 single disk
