Unhappy Anybody do anything this dumb????

Just the other day, me and my new toy were in the garage mounting the new lighted logo in the front grill of my blue '02. The black '93 had to wait outside. I had the Snug Lid open and the space heaters runnin' cuz it was kinda chilly out and I wanted her to feel all at home and warm. Well, I had a remote for the garage doors in my pocket and accidently leaned on it reaching for drill bit. The garage door started opening and my mind just kinda went into slow moiton or something. I turned to look at the door going up as if my brain didn't believe it and my eyes had to prove that something bad was about to happen. If I had just pushed the wall mounted button that was RIGHT THERE, I could have stopped it. But noooo, I had to watch in what seemed like slow motion (why is that?) while the draw bar on the garage door scraped an S-shaped scratch about a foot long and all the way to the fiberglass into my week and a half old Snug Lid! Just when I think I have my s#*t together, I do something like that. At least I'll have it back for the weekend. I sure would like to get some miles on it so I can open 'er up and see what kind of butt I can kick around Dallas with it!

I guess I can say that I have been drinking all day, My friend is driving the car for that. We have to change for the club so I sss and eat some food at home real quick and drink a glass of cold milk. So we are going to the club and let me tell you , I could not even give him heads up. Put the window down and I dont think that I ever got slick like that in my whole life as a drunk. The whole passanger on the car was coverd in what it looked like carp carp and more carp. Some small amount was in the truck. Anyway. Good luck with your car.

My snuglid was scratched in the first month by the garage door arm going down... For some reason I parked in the middle to unload it and out of habit hit the button on the way into the house... the arm put a pretty good scrape in mine.. Never have gotten it fixed..

Show up at a TALON meeting and well comoare damage

One time a long time ago I checked all the fluids on a car I owned, before heading to Cape Cod. Well I must have forgot to put the cap on the radiator resevour. Well about 45 minutes into the drive I noticed the temp rising and the car running a little rough. I pulled over and found the cap sitting on the wheel well. I put the cap back on and refilled the radiator.

Needless to say I did some serous damage to the head, a nice little crack by one of the valves.

I scratched the wing on my ARE II lid when I was putting on Zaino...my wristwatch hit it as I was 'waxing' underneath it...scratch about 1" long...last time I wear a watch while cleaning the car.

Just last week I was backing my truck into the garage, just as the cab was going under the door I heard a big CRASH. I guess I was holding the opener in my hand as I was backing and pressed the button. Door hit the very edge of cab at rear window, no damage as there ic carpet on bottom of door! Scared the ***** outta me though. NO MORE button in hand EVER........... old type door with no electric eye.............JR

No pics yet. Will correct that this weekend.

Hey, I'm Sweedish, Lived in some VERY cold places (Minn.,S. Korea, W. Germany) but for some reason I hate cold weather! It was in the 40's that particular day. I may be a wuss when it's cold, but you won't hear me complain when it's110!!!

I was changing the oil on my winter beater and for some reason I couldn't get the oil to show on the dip stick...I put in about 7 litres of oil into a Toyota but the dip stick still showed nothing. I was out of oil so I decided to head out to the local parts store for more oil(no it hadn't clicked yet...i know, i'm a tool)

Anyway while heading around the back of the car I noticed a huge oil slick on the floor of the garage (no not yet, wait for it) and I said to myself "Self you need to get some absorbal while your out". I was out side on the driveway now heading to my car and I called a buddy (Toyota mech) and asked him how much oil a 85 Corolla held, then proceeded to tell him my story....then it clicked as he was laughing at me.

It wouldn't have been so bad if it was only me but once other find out how stoopid (yes with 2 O's) you are, it's hard to live down.
