A an SHO owner, and entusiast, I can tell you that the Lightning would easily win. If you compared the SHO to a stock Gen 1 Lightning, that would be about equal. A stock 94 SHO would turn about mid 15s in the 1/4. HOWEVER, if you are talking top speed, then they are about equal. A stock SHO will pin the 140 mph speedo, I've done it many times. The SHO motors don't run out of power at high rpms, the just keep pulling.
