I live in Southgate. I'll meet up with you out @ Milan. I belong to a club that rents the track once a month. Costs $30 to run or freee just to watch. Usually there's only 50 cars or so that show up. Much better than normal test n' tune nights. You can actually get more than 3 runs in if you want. I'll post something when it comes along, probably starting in April or May.

I did not read you whole post i guess @ first, so you have an R/T? I would love to race! Mine is stock, but I have not raced ANYONE yet. I have lined up next to quite a few T/A's and SS's, but NO ONE WILL RACE

 

That surprises me soooooo much because all the punks around here w/ stang's, camaro's, T/A's and firebirds. I have a stoplight challenge everywhere I go. I have only been in a handlful of races though. Go cruise Gratiot on a Friday night. After the car show is over at Continental Lanes everyone heads done there to "test" each other. There are some pretty quick guys there.

Will do. It's open to club members and their friends. Just checked the club calendar and the first night is May 16. I just remembered as well. It costs a bit more for non-club members. However I think you can join and then get member rates for the rest of the season as well as any other club event. Membership is like $15/year.

Hey can I be down too? Hey Chainsaw, would that be the FME? Or is it something else? Do you know when the first week is that Milan is open? I'm kind of anxious to get out there! I'm pretty sure you guys know what I mean!

 

Yep, that's FME. I just took a quick look on the Milan website and there isn't anything about when they'll be opening. My guess is sometime in April.

 

Once spring comes around we'll meet up somewhere, whoever lives in the metro detroit area, that would be cool, I'm sure I've seen you guys around, hell you mighta seen me around, but it would be cool to meet up with some of you L guys and do some racin for fun..Yeah I'm a little punk kid 20 year old but its all good, alot of these kids in stangs and t/as and that do think they are somethin special, I usually suprise them, with mY Dakota R/T (road turtle) to you guys..my buddy has a silver L but I havent got to race him yet..i look forward to meetin up with some of you guys..see ya

I know where that is, i used to play roller hockey down the street, near 15 mile and harper, at Sports Forum.
