Another one bites the dust

I hated seeing it go but go it did. On a flat bed to a Ford dealer in Houston. Like the song says, "you gotta know when to hold them and know when to fold them." I folded.

Now, what to replace it with? Ford sent me a $500 loyalty voucher but it's not good for SVT vehicles or Xplans.

So how loyal can I be?

Hmmmmm.

An 01 Silver Bolt.
Ford sent me a cert. for $500 for a radiator problem I had with another F150. Then they sent me another $500 cert. for paying off the L. If I could take that $1000 and use the Xplan I might have a Marauder in my future. I dunno... I might wait and see what the 03 L's are like.

Too bad for you. Any reason why you let the L go? or is it just time to move on.

It only took $1000 to persuade you to sell your L?

I didn't sell the L for the 1000 in certificates. Gimme-A-break.

Ever bought a vehicle and wind up with a things are not quite right feeling about it? Like it was built on a shifts bad day.

That's how I felt about that L. Just quirky things. Anyway, I thought I'd pass it on while I could still get a decent price for it.

Even from the start I couldn't get motivated about modding it cause I wasn't sure if I'd keep it.

Time will tell what I'll replace it with. Heck, might buy a R1 or a CBR.
