I got a FUNK smell in the truck!

I bought this 99 L a few weeks ago it. It now has a weird smell, it doesn't smell bad, it doesn't smell good, it's hard to describe. Anyway, what can i use to get the smell out of the truck. I already tried new car smell that just masks the odor then it comes back. What should I do?

PS: It's not me

Use Febreeze on it. You can get it at Wal-Mart or K-Mart.

Thumbs up

Try a product called ERASE. I used to work at a car rental agency and that's what we used to get the cigarette smell out and it works great. I don't know where to find it, but if you did some looking you could probably find it.

i would find the source of the problem, and not give them anymore rides.

try leaving the windows down, or cracked, and the ac controll on vent when you park it. it will help it air out.

You can also take it to a detail shop that has an ozone generator. They use those on used cars and rental cars to get rid of all kinds of smells even cigars.

Easiest way to get the smell of funk out of a truck....

Wait till you hit the bedroom and not pull over on the side of the road......

Woggie, thanks for that pic. I laughed my a$$ off seeing that.

Ozium is another good option for removing smells. It's not an air freshener, it's kinda like an ozone generator. I use it in my house from time to time after smoking a cigar. You can find it at just about any cigar store, or even places like F&M or CVS.

People used ozium in the 70's to cover up the smell of hippie lettuce in the frat house.
