Angry Chip reburn,, WTF ??

Had my R9 Superchip reburned to match my 3# pulley..I ask for the truck to shift at redline (R9 shifted a bit over redline) and the shifts to be softened ( I'm putting in a Line Valve Mod)..Truck now seems slower,Shifts close to 6,000 rpms and wacks you in the back when it does shift..Is it because I'm just a little buyer that no attention was paid to detail in my chip reburn,,I gave these instructions twice to the same person..
Sorry for venting but a lot of money to me...
Thanks ,, Ted O.

Contrary to popular belief, all the tuners are very concerned about customer satisfaction. Its a very competitive business and an unhappy customer can hurt their business.Call your tuner and severely reprimand him directly.Mistakes happen. There may be a guy somewhere right now unhappy with his mild program because you guys got the wrong chips.Hey,shiznit happens.Easily corrected.

What I'm saying is, people make mistakes. I've yet to meet anyone that was perfect. I've had a chip burnt with the wrong program as well. Sad that it was still screwed up after two messages. Raise a little hell at them. Then laugh a little after you get off the phone. I've learned people live longer if they can laugh at a situation.

I too had a small glitch in my first chip. Had a no start on side 1, but it was immediately rectified by the tuner. As soon as I called, there was another chip on the way even before I sent the first one back. Whether is was a mistake on my part, the tuner's part, or just a freak accident while in shipping, something happened to the chip. Hey it is electronics, still to this day, not a 100% reliable/durable/unbreakable/etc science.

Keep your chin up and call your tuner, I bet the problem will be rectified before you know it.

I think you might want to discuss the situation with your tuner first.

I think I know who did your reburn, and I bet he would have appreciated the offer to correct the situation before this post.
I know I would have.

Just my .02
