A friend told me they had a silver Lightning at KB Toys the other day. So yesterday I went & they still had one. It is the Burango 1/21 scale I already had the red one so I figured I'd add the silver to my collection. They must have reused the box because it said 99 Lightning on the front. Does anyone elses say that also or did I get a real collectable?

 

I bought one too a few months back. Silver but said 1999 on the box. I don't have it here at work but as I recall it also had the '99 tail lights.

 

It does & it also has the 99 mirrors.

All Bburago's are the 1999 models. They supposedly have a 1/43 scale that is available (according to their web site). That only comes out in red. Tiger Wheels has quite a few different variations of Lightnings (am trying to get all of them). Good job getting the Bburago, have been looking lately and they appear to be getting a little harder to find (except through ebay, of course).
