don't bother.

Our ignition systems hold up to low 11 sec runs, and probably soon 10 sec runs

Last time I checked the Stacker 8 was not yet available. I would not discount it as unecessary until it is tested.

Is it available?

I just got an Email back from MSD a few days ago. Looks like mid- summer this year before it will be available. The list price is, get this ,$$918.00.

I'm sure they are going to sell a lot of those. It is not multi spark, and no other MSD accessories wil plug in. No boost retard etc...
as of now.

Jacob's makes a stacker also, but they never answered my request for information. I don't know i it will work on the 5.4. It's made for the 4.6.

Wink

the stacker is available through sumit racing for369.99. but ,like you said it is not worth the money . i just found out that it has no rev limiter, no retard, no outlets, so it only increases fire.

The one that is available from Summitt is the 4 channel unit that will only drive four coils. We need the 8 channel unit which isn't out yet.

MSD was talking about releasing that thing last summer; then the fall; then the winter and now mid summer. Sounds like they are having problems and I'm now very skeptical about the unit. I doubt you will see many people running out to lay down 9 bills on it especially if it doesn't have all the features we expect.

JAY, you are incorrect, SUMMIT has two of these in stock. the part # is 7020(stacker ignition,8 channel, distributorless) and you can see this part at msdignition.com in the sport compact section.

I think some of us could be waiting for a while at that price!
