Exhaust smell inside cab after hard run?

Ive noticed lately after I make a hard run or accelerate pretty quick, Im getting a strong exhaust type smell inside the cab!! Windows are up,a/c is not on.......WTF? Anyone else have this problem? Makes wonder if something is a miss! Everything underneath the truck is intact and no exhaust leaks that I can see.

Also finally installed the line mod and spring, it helped a little bit, but it still doesnt bark the tires in second and shift as hard as I would like it to. Oh well............

I don't think there is a problem with your truck. I can sometimes smell exhaust in mine too after a quick blast. I noticed it shortly after I got the truck and before I had the MagnaFlow installed. BTW, my Cobra does the same thing...

Could be the cats. Mine smelled something awful after my last dyno run. Never have noticed it while driving though.

Skank Dog, been eating a lot of garlic lately? Maybe that's the answer.

CornerCarver has been complaining of this 'exhaust smell' too He has since cornered the market on Metamusil and those pine tree mirror-hangy things he gets when he has the caddies shine-up his L at the Master's Car-Wash.

Im glad someone mentioned this because I get the same thing. Hell I noticed it when i was driveing it home from the dealer...and I was driving it easy. I figured it was just the exhaust pipes heating up real good for the first time.

I still get the smell from time to time but only after getting on it hard. Also Im not sure if Id describe my smell as an exhaust smell. Its more like a "hot" smell.

LOL!! Man, you guys aint right!! I come here for some very much needed help and what do I get?, Beano, metamusil, and for pete's sake, UNDERGARMENTS!!! Holy S***, what is wrong with you people??!!!!! LMFAO!!! Besides, I like the way my farts smell.........OK!! LMAO!

Anyways, I think the "smell" may be from the oil breather cap venting. It didnt do it until I installed this cap. Just a guess though.

I guess my user name "Skank" kinda set me up for this abuse hu? Oh well, another lesson learned.........ya'll win this time!

After I get on it hard I get a smell like a rubber factory on fire. Can't figure out what it is.
