Ford Parts Dept.

They are not expensive, under $500 if I remeber correctly.

Where are you located, I might know someone that can cut you a deal on a new one.

I have a friend with 2 complete Navigator engines. I do believe one has a spun rod bearing. He may be interested in getting rid of one. I know he has them slated for projects, but I'll ask if your interested.

J15BIG,

Any 5.4 block should be the same. You going back stock or radical?

Don't just accept any 5.4 block. You do not want an early one.

Probably around $600. 2001 is different than the 99-00 and costs more.

J15, perhaps I missed it, but I take it that Ford voided your warranty? Didnt you bring it in after removing the mods? If so, they must have foudn evidence of some mods somehow, what was it?

Thanks
Jeff

Hey I just talked to www.karkraft.com and they have blocks new for $400.00 bucks.

I'm trying to see if he has any new cranks too to go with that way I just can rebuild the short block and do a quick swap. I know he said he's got the navigator cast iron cranks but I don't know if that would be quite as good as the 5.4 steel unit.
