SWEET!!! Are those the Driv Plagues? I will probably buy those or the Antera Type 325, when spring comes, in 22".

They look great! What kind of wax do you use? Your black looks nice and shinny.

I just had it professionally detailed this week. Then it rained, so I had to rewash it, but it still looks ok.

Yeah, I figured hey, I don't use the ext cab for much, and I don't ever put it in 4x4, so a Lightning would work great for me. But, I have to wait until my lease is up, or until Ford lemon laws my truck. Unless someone wants to trade me for a 2001-2002 white Lightning for my truck...but I keep the wheels.

Ok, should I lose the grille guard now or not? Then maybe add the PIAA lower air dam or something?

Aspiring to what is next...also, at the time I stuck it on there, I was buying pieces to build S/C 5.4L engine, but then lost interest trying to make everything come together...within budget. Just have never put the stock badge back on. Is it a big deal to the real L owners out there? I know it's not an L, and I don't try to pass it off as such either.

lariat4wd,

Those wheels look pretty sweet! What size tires are those?

CrazyFoo,

The Driv Plaques look pretty sweet as well. I have a set of 22" Driv Plaques with 305/45-22 Toyo Proxes ST on my Expy. I have a 2001 Lightning front end so you can kind of get an idea of how they will look on your Lightning. Check out the website in my signature for more pics.

they look good.
just got mine on as well but i think i want bigger.

more than likely there will be a set of 4 20" KMC bofa's with tires for sale on ebay soon.

i think i may go up to some 24's this summer.

i thought about 22's then i thought i wanted some 23's.

so i will either be getting 23's or 24's.

Good job Lariot! Have you considered a dropped suspension?
