I'm sure it has been asked before but I can't find it when I search. IS a gen 1 L faster than a Gen 2 L?

stock for stock - gen2 is much faster. after some bolt on mods gen2 will still be in front. no question!!!!!

IMO, the only way they can be compared is stock since there are so many mods out there for both.

As far as anyone knows, the fastest Gen II runs 11.20's. There are many heavily modded Gen 1's running faster than that.

Both being stock, the Gen II is fastest.

 

I've already seen Gen 1 that has been heavily moddified that will blow all the L's that I have seen away.

The gen 2 wins. Really can not go modded against modded. But if you did the I would have to say the fastest Mustang would be john force and the fastest F-150 would be greg biffle in daytona at around 200 mph.LOL
