leanest cylinder

I'm in the process of installing a boost guage and EGT guage. I was wondering which cylinder runs the leanest on the Lightning, so I can attach the probe to that cylinder.

if indeed 5 is the leanest would it not make more sense to use a slightly larger injector in that cyl. insted over over richening the others to compensate

The last time I looked, if my memory serves me right, the #5 injector is the last one on the fuel rail. It would be better to adjust the injector's pulse a milisecond or two more. But im not sure if the tuners can adjust each injectors with these computers.

Then again I could be all wrong...

you are correct, adjusting the pulse width would be the prefered method however that has not been done by any of the tuners...IT IS possible to accomplish this however as the stock ecm has the ability to control each injector independent of one another. in actuality it currently does just that. in the mean time a larger injector makes a nice bandaid

Thanks.

#6 is the leanest on the Supra, to help with this we changed to a custom built sheetmetal manifold. Too much air was getting in the #6 cylinder, so we run a manifold to make all airflow equal. I am running 28-30 psi and a 70 shot on 104 unleaded.
