this direct air intake was made at Moore Fabrication, a plastic molding, fabrication, and machine shop. the factory air hole remains open. theirs also a trap door in the scoop that opens/ closes via push/ pull cable from ****pit. this allows for shut down in bad weather.

Interesting? Looks like it can suck some major air down. I don't think I care for the scoop though, I think it needs to be flattened a little bit so it doesn't stick up so high. But that's just my opinion and its your turck.

I just want to know what cervinni's problem is? I want my damn functional ram air already!

the pro comp scoop in the photos had a major height reduction to lay down on the hood curvature. it is 4 1/4" high at the snout, for Moore Fabrication to mold/ fabricate/ and assemble a kit with with layout templets, etc. it would take sales [ orders ] of 100/ea. estimated cost 600.00 to 800.00
when you look at the hood sub structure, the center opening was begging for a scoop cut out ! I built this as a custom for my own L, but as a company we contract manufacture and would consider manufacturing if the interest [ volumn ] was their.
F.Y.I. their is a serious intimation factor on a working scoop thats best said by the guy in the next vehicle thats profiling you!
I love it !!!

Cool

HI!... Not to start a flame war, or anything, but is it just me? I personally think that is the fugliest hood scoop I have EVER seen! And I have seen some ugly ones. It's definately not for me. To each his own, I guess.

I agree with you Neil,I would go with a Shaker hood like Rob G. has on his truck or the cobra hood that pro-glass has available.
