Hey guys, my only mods are a JDM filter, and a magnaflow. Now, sometimes when i stomp it from a 29 or a 30mph roll, the truck downshifts into first normally, but it bangs the rev limiter and cuts off power for a splt second. I know this isn't normal or else eveyone would be complaining about it. Does anyone have any idea as to why my truck is banging the limiter??? Oh, and im not shifting it manually. Any responses apprecited.

 

Have you got the boost by pass unplugged?

 

I had that happen a few times too. The key word you used is sometimes. But every time it did it was after a downshift, the upshift seemd to be a little late for some reason, and the engine went flat waiting for the trans to shift.
