If you get a lot of false alarms in the x band you can custom program the detector to cut that out. check out the V1 website then print out the instructions. I do all hwy driving and keep it in the L mode.

I havent seen any LEO running X band in over 10 years here in Florida so I programmed out the x band as mentioned above .. hence no fasle alarms except for the occasional polluting detector(usually KA) or motion sensor..I have been tagged by laser and instant on in the 5 or 6 years ive had mine, but it paid for itself many times over..V1 is the best...

I run in the A mode most of the time. Sometimes I switch to L (logic) if I'm getting tons of false signals. I once got a ticket with my V1 when I was in city mode (L) on the highway. I vowed to stay in the all bogie mode as much as possible since then....

I run the A mode 95% of the time. I have learned the differences in the urgency of the tones and now I don't even hear the false alarms. Better to have false alarms than to miss a weak bogey. Sometimes in the city I switch to L or just turn it off.

I leave mine in full-logic mode (L) all the time, even on the highway.

Small "L" mode, I believe it is "logic" but not the "advanced logic". It is a perfect compromise for both.

Have been running it in that mode for six years and no problems (City or Highway). KNOCK WOOD!
