I just reinstalled my switchplate thing after grinding down what i needed to. Now I need to splice wires together? What does that mean. I know which two wires i need to splice together, but how do i do that? Do I strip them and then twist them together?????? PLEASE HELP ME!

Should tell you everything you want to know. To splice the two wires I used a side by side plastic barrel connector lookin thing where you just put the two wires side by side then crimp. Got it at the harware store. Good luck!

what slot did you put the wires into than? i used that site to get what i have done, but now do i yank one of the wires out, and put them back into a different numbered slot? does it matter what slot??

 

what has to be done, in simplest word, is just jumper the wires..
dont have to cut or anything the stock wires.
what i did was use the blue splice connectors, available at murrays, and put one on the 2 and 12 and a jumper wire between for connection.
